Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Equipment Construction and Installation for Photo Enforcement Systems Contractor will be responsible for designing, constructing, and installing new equipment for Photo Enforcement Systems at intersections and providing the City with all other mobile equipment for those Systems. Images containing the locations of the intersections are listed in Exhibit D. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, approach cameras, speed cameras, sensors, components, products, software, mobile units, and other ancillary equipment. Contractor must obtain and pay for all needed permits from the City of Beaverton, Washington County, and Oregon Department of Transportation (“ODOT”) prior to installing the equipment for the Photo Enforcement Systems at any intersection. The design, plan prep, and installation or construction of the equipment must conform to all applicable federal, state, county, and city design and construction standards and guidelines including the City of Beaverton Engineering Design Manual, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Oregon Supplements to the MUTCD, Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Standard Specifications for Mico Computer Signal Controller, Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction and Oregon Standard Drawings, and Oregon Electrical Specialty Code and National Electric Code . The installation or construction of the equipment must not utilize or adversely affect infrastructure for existing traffic signals, damage streets, impede street maintenance, adversely affect sidewalks or pedestrian access, or in any way restrict street operations. Upon completion of all installation or construction of the equipment, Contractor must deliver the as-built drawings of each intersection to the City. At existing red light and speed enforcement intersections, the existing conduits and poles that are part of the enforcement system are owned by the City and are available to vendors.
