Design and construction administration and full-time observation and testing of removal of existing ballasted EPDM membrane and expanded polystyrene insulation over the Aviation Classrooms; Design and construction administration and full-time observation and testing of Minnesota State Design Standard Roof, including replacement of drains and drainage to comply with current code; Structural evaluation of existing structure and design to support Minnesota State Design Standard Built-Up Roof and increased parapet and curbs to comply with increased insulation and flashing height requirements, as well as the capacity to possibly add future solar panels; Replacement of sheet metal walls at transitions with vertical waterproofing and new prefinished sheet metal. Other roof accessory items will need replacement as well. Removal and replacement of the batten seam metal panel roof system and determination of removal or retention of existing skylights.
