Specifications include, but are not limited to: Successful bidder shall be responsible for the milk and / or dairy items until they are delivered to the lcoation(s) specified in the bid specifications. If milk and / or dairy items are rejected they must be removed by and at the expense of the bidder promptly after notification of rejection Inspection: Inspection and acceptance of goods will be made at time of delivery Time of Delivery: Deliveries will be accepted between 6:30 A. M. and 1:00 P M'; preferably not bet n 11:30 A.M to 12:30 P.M. deliveries to Schools Will be required as Follows for the Duration of the School Year: l. Delivery schedules will be negotiated upon award of the bid and shall be agreeable and advantageous to both parties. 2. Milk deliveries are to be made daily to all schools. The Cafeteria Managers will place orders two days in advance of a needed delivery. 3. Vendors shall be responsible for making timely deliveries except in cases where a scheduled delivery is impossible because of acts of God, war, or other major catastrophe beyond the control of the vendor. If, however, deliveries cannot be made as per the agreed upon delivery schedule, the Child Nutrition office must be notified. The vendor shall then deliver at the earliest immediate possible date.
