Specifications include, but are not limited to: o Listing City properties for sale o Communicating with potential buyers o Assisting with setting a sale price and terms o Advising City Management and elected leadership during negotiations o Serving as seller’s representative in real estate transactions o Assisting city staff in documenting sale offers, terms and transactions; The selected individual or firm will also help the city identify, evaluate, and acquire real property, including: o Serving as buyer’s representative in real estate transactions o Reviewing and interpreting inspection results o Assisting city staff in documenting sale offers, terms and transactions o Working with title companies in establishing escrow and working to achieve a smooth transfer o Attend all closing o Work with City legal counsel to draft sale documents
