Specifications include, but are not limited to: In order to convey Weber State University’s modular, stackable educational offerings -- meeting students where they are and providing logical, career-focused onramps and offramps to various degrees and other credentials via various pathways -- the university is seeking a two-part technological solution to providing a meaningful interface between the university and students. The student-facing portion of this request is a mobile application or other web tool (friendly to mobile display) that will enable a student to enter certain experience- and interest-oriented information, then receive constrained choices and guidance on their educational paths forward. The interface itself must be simple, akin to a presentation that looks like a quick Q&A or quiz. Initial responses dictate the next display, until the app would have enough information to make suggestions. Key to this endeavor are constrained pathways, where students see only that information that is most relevant to them at the right time in their pathway.
