Specifications include, but are not limited to: Consultative Scope of Services required (multi-year): 1. Develop a multi-year strategic, tactical, and operations plan for the WVUCI that will evolve as the institution gets closer to CCSG application. 2. Position WVUCI to play a unique role in cancer-related translational, basic, and population-based research and implementation science. 3. Package and expand of existing programming to best position WVUCI for NCI designation. 4. Develop new programs to meet the requirements of the CCSG. 5. Create comprehensive dashboards to monitor timelines and progress. 6. Facilitate formulation of required advisory and oversight boards. 7. Educate and guide WVU, WVU Medicine, and WVUCI programmatic leadership regarding NCI designation requirements. 8. Develop strategic, tactical, and operations plans for key function areas required to attain designation including but not limited to Clinical Trials. 9. Promote relationships with the NCI and partner organizations. 10. Support development of sustainability strategies, strategic partners, and business support structures. 11. Once NCI designation is obtained, consultants are necessary to help formulate strategies for continued advancement and maintaining NCI designation status.
