Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is intended that any and all reloads of whatever caliber shall be of such quality as to minimize smoke and the accumulation of deposits in the gun barrel. All casings shall be cleaned and inspected before loading. Unless otherwise specified for the 38 caliber, the point shall be 148 grains for wadcutters and 158 grains for semi-wadcutters, either swaged or cast, and there shall be 2.7 grains of high quality powder. No salvage powder shall be used for any of the reloads. High quality powder shall be used to produce a velocity of 700-850 feet per second. Cases shall be once fired brass or nickel plated brass as manufactured by Winchester, Remington or Federal. Bidders are hereby notified that purchasers reserve the right to test, inspect and disassemble any number of cartridges selected at random. If components are found not to be in accordance with the specifications, purchaser may reject the entire shipment and return it at vendor's expense for a full refund.
