Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide consultation to HANO regarding its insurance program. Perform an annual review of insurance Loss and Loss Adjustment Expense Reserves. Update and analyze loss history to assist in determining the level of risk retention and risk transfer that is needed to protect HANO from financial loss. • Evaluate existing insurance contracts (and claims history, as necessary). Determine whether the policies currently in force are appropriate in terms of coverage, carrier and price. Provide recommendations, and draft the appropriate wording concerning any changes, modifications, consolidations, and/or additions in the carriers, coverage, limits, terms, conditions, and exposures that are needed to yield a comprehensive risk management program to protect the interests of HANO. • Act as an agent for new or renewed insurance policies engaged during the term of this contract. • Assist in identifying and evaluating existing and emerging exposures to risk. • Identify programs, products and insurers that are capable of meeting HANO’s insurance needs.
