Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to evaluate and select an A/E to assist the Owner in the performance of its obligations and enforcement of its rights during the design and/or construction of the MNSU-24-SU-Conference Room 201-204 Renovation. This project will include renovation/refresh of conference rooms 201 thru 204.This will include but not be limited to floor, walls and ceiling finishes and acoustical separation between the rooms and the hearth lounge. The facility would like to theme these rooms to reflect Minnesota, these themes may include but not be limited to the following ideas: Up- North, Prairies, Lakes, and Rivers, etc. The theming may be accomplished by using color pallets changes or selection of appropriate artwork. The design team will be responsible to assist in the selection and procurement of such artwork. We will also be modifying storage room 205 which will include widening the door to the room and HVAC system as it is supplied form AHU-5. Updating mechanical systems including replacement of AHU-5, VAV’s and ductwork. Updating electrical systems and lighting within the rooms. Minnesota State will be responsible for the design and installation of updated AV/IT systems. The design firms will be responsible for the rough in of power and raceways for the AV/IT infrastructure.
