This 6-acre area is to be maintained so that all woody vegetation is controlled and grass height is restricted. The security fence line can be accessed from two different locations; South Gate Entrance, Camp Dawson and Wilson Hill located in the Wetzel Settlement. First treatment April/May, Second treatment July D1 [13-acres] Maintain invasive species along Camp Dawson river bank from south gate to main entrance, with special focus of cut stump treatment on the southwest end of airfield runway, and elimination of trees, shrubs, and any vegetation impeding the clear view of outlet signs along the river bank. Treatment July/August Flat ranges[ 0.5 acres] Maintain grasses within graveled areas and around shooting positions. Weapons Vaults [ 0.5 acres] Maintain weeds, grasses, and vegetation within gravel area surrounding weapons vaults. Gas shut-off [0.5 acres] Maintain unwanted vegetation within fence. Airfield- Treat landing zone area concrete breaks and cracks for grass and leafy vegetation (2-acres). Shanty Town Village [1.5-acres] Treat unwanted vegetation and invasive species within gravel area and around connex buildings.
