Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors in the Phoenix-metro area to establish, staff, and operate a telephony-based call center providing connection to services for those adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and extreme heat. The intent of this solicitation is to increase access to community services for those adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and seasonal heat. Major functional components (identified as separate projects) include: * Establish and staff a hotline serving Spanish speaking individuals residing in Maricopa County by triaging calls, answering questions, and providing connection to services related to COVID-19 and other community needs exacerbated by the pandemic. * Establish and staff a hotline serving residents of Maricopa County with connection to services for those adversely affected by heat by triaging calls, answering questions, providing connection to services, and providing transportation of individuals to and from cooling or respite center locations as needed. It is our intent to award an initial 14-month contract beginning May 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. If additional funds become available, any award resulting from this solicitation may be amended and/or extended based on the need for continuous services as well as satisfactory Contractor performance. Any additional deliverables or changes to the scope of work and/or compensation amounts, shall be subject to negotiation and approved by all parties.
