The improvements to be completed at the Section 10 WRP include the construction of a new aeration basin adjacent to an existing aeration basin and the addition of a new concrete splitter box structure. The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing necessary materials and equipment to perform site excavation, installation of new yard piping, bypass pumping, construction of concrete foundations, walls and floors, grating, stairs, aeration process piping and equipment within and outside the new basin, conduit for controls and electrical wiring, and electrical equipment. Work will involve connections to existing plant piping, demolition of the existing concrete splitter box structure, protecting underground utilities, and overall site restoration disturbed by construction and coordination with the Owner’s SCADA programmer for new equipment and instruments.
