Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. ACTIVATED CARBON Supply and Deliver 60,000 lbs. of the UC1240AW Acid Washed Granular Activated Carbon for two vessels only at 30,000 lbs. each vessel. II, TURN-KEY ON.SITE CARBON CHANGE OUT SERVICE . The change out will be on-site for the 60,000 lbs. (two vessels only). There will be two change outs. III. SERVICE ON THE CONTRACT WILL INCLUDE: . Travel to Pi'iholo carbon site with a certified technician. . Remove the spent carbon from the filter and package the spent carbon to containers. Disinfection and rinsing of vessel prior to the addition of fresh carbon . lnspect the internal filters . Fill with fresh new carbon IV. TRANSPORTATION AND DISPOSAL OF SPENT CARBONS . These spent carbon should be approved for disposal at local landfill which includes all fees the spent GAC disposal.
