Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, all paint must be delivered in premium, stackable, square-shaped totes meeting all of the following requirements: i) 275 Gallon Square HDPE Tote: • UN DOT Certified • High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) material • 6” fill cap opening • (2) – 2” bung locations • 2” Banjo Ball Valve (full port) • Molded in gallon markings • All EPDM gaskets • Base – 4 way forkliftable, 2-way pallet jackable (blue) • Stackable 2-3 high (depending upon container size, weight and temperature) • Test pressure rating: 14.7PSIG (100 KPA) • 45” length, 45” width, and 56” tall45” length, 45” width, and 56” tall. • Approved Brand: Snyder IBC 275-gallon premium square stackable or approved equal 2. Additional requirements: i) All totes are to remain the property of the supplier. ii) All paint for the entire season must be delivered in the same type of tote. Switching types of totes mid-season will not be allowed unless prior approval has been granted by the contracting authority. iii) Each tote must be plainly marked with the gross, tare, and net weight, the lot number, producer's name, the date of manufacture and type of paint. iv) The use of liners in the totes to ease cleanup and minimize paint/air interaction in the annular space at the top of the tote is strongly encouraged and preferred. v) Caged poly totes will not be accepted.
