When presented with a Staffing Opportunity, each approved staffing agency will be expected to provide the following services related to completing a search for an investment management professional for investment operations and system support, including information technology and data management: Discuss candidate requirements with designated SWIB staff for the purpose of (a) identifying important attributes and qualifications (b) identifying any necessary experience, and (c) establishing appropriate screening criteria. Advise and assist designated SWIB staff in developing and implementing a recruitment plan to identify, evaluate, qualify and recommend competitive candidates for consideration. Proactively identify and contact candidates who possess capabilities that are consistent with SWIB’s recruitment requirements. Review and evaluate applications/resumes from all sources. This may include candidates from other recent and relevant searches performed by the staffing agency, or any other means used by the staffing agency to identify appropriate candidates. Complete initial conversations with candidates in order to develop candidate profiles for all candidates viewed as competitive for the position and assess candidates against desired competencies and preferred knowledge, education and experience. Provide candidate profiles to SWIB. Advise and assist designated SWIB staff in narrowing the field of candidates to those that best meet SWIB’s needs. Allow SWIB the option to review additional candidates at any time throughout the process. Advise and assist SWIB in preparing for and conducting interviews of the most competitive candidates, which shall include providing an evaluation of the relative strengths of the candidates as related to the identified preferred competencies, knowledge, education and experience. At SWIB’s request, assist with or carry out candidate qualification and reference checks during the search process. Maintain a tracking summary of candidates who have applied or have been identified for consideration, and regularly provide an updated summary to SWIB. Provide weekly status updates on progress and be accessible for consultation on any aspect of the candidate search during the contract period by telephone, e-mail, in writing, or in person. Provide reports/analyses of impediments to filling the position if not filled within a reasonable timeframe. Comply with legal requirements, including pay equity and equal opportunity.
