Specifications include, but are not limited to: Unified Fire Authority (“UFA”) is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified specialists that use nationally recognized standards and protocols for administering professional standards/Human Resources investigations. The qualified individual or firm will investigate violations of department policy, including financial irregularities, conflicts of interest, harassment, and discriminiation. The selected provider will conduct factfinding, including interviews and document review, and write reports detailing such findings. The UFA anticipates that it will conduct 5-10 investigations annually. Furthermore, the provider must be capable of meeting the requirements of the UFA at a reasonable cost with dependable, thorough, and efficient service.
