Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intention of the Tucson Unified School District to procure a qualified contractor for removal and replacement of existing cooling tower at Catalina High Magnet School per the attached mechanical engineer plans and specification documents. Specifications and specific requirements are included with this Invitation for Bid. For each specific requirement, indicate if your offer complies or how it deviates. Bidders are strongly encouraged to be specific in describing their services and supplemental information may be attached. Each supplemental entry must reference the section or specific requirement to which it applies. Items showing brand name or approved equal will permit Bidders of other brands to Bid them as alternates. However, the District will reserve the right to decide if alternates are equal. Bidder must indicate in the space provided if their product is an alternate by submitting name and detailed specifications of item Bid upon. Otherwise, it will be understood that the item Bid meets our specifications. Alternate products need to be submitted to the Procurement Agent at least 10 days before due date and time so that they can be reviewed and determined if they will be excepted. The district will post an amendment on the alternate system and if the district decided to approve or deny the request prior to the due date and time.
