Specifications include, but are not limited to: Demolish site improvements designated to be removed as identified by the Owner’s representative. Site improvements shall include but not be limited to pavements, curbs and gutters, and sidewalks. Furnishing of all labor, equipment, tools and materials for excavation, backfill, aggregate base preparation and subgrade compaction. Tack Coat: 1. Apply to contact surfaces of previously constructed asphaltic concrete base courses or portland cement concrete and surfaces abutting or projecting into asphaltic concrete or into asphaltic concrete pavement. 2. Apply tack coat to asphaltic concrete base course or sand asphalt base course. Apply emulsified asphalt tack coat between each lift or layer of full depth asphaltic concrete and sand asphalt bases and on surface of bases where asphaltic concrete paving will be constructed.
