Specifications include, but are not limited to: Fence Fabric Specification - All chain link fabric shall conform to the requirements of ASTM A-392, ASTM A-491 or the latest requirements in force. All chain link fabric shall be woven into approximately two-inch (2”) mesh and galvanized before weaving. All fabric used MUST have knuckled finish on both the TOP and the BOTTOM. Backstop Fencing - The wire used in the manufacture of the fence fabric shall be six gauge (6ga) and the fabric will be used on all backstop areas below eight feet (8’) in height. All areas above eight feet (8’) in height will use nine gauge (9ga) fabric. All fabric is to be attached to the inside of the pole unless otherwise specified, using fabric ties at six-inch (6”) intervals. Dugout Fencing - The wire used in the manufacture of the fence fabric shall be nine gauge (9ga). Fencing is to be six feet (6’) in height with the exception of the Kiwanis Park ballfields where the rear portion of the dugout fencing is to be eight feet (8’) in height. All fencing shall be attached to the inside of the poles facing the playing area. Overthrow Fencing - The wire used in the manufacture of the fence fabric shall be nine gauge (9ga).
