Specifications include, but are not limited to: In consideration of becoming the provider for Bus Transportation Shuttle for the 2024 Apple Harvest Festival, would you please provide us with an estimate of all costs (including hourly rate) to include the “pick-up” and “drop-off” of visitors to the Festival. Visitors to the Festival will be picked up at the Southington High School Parking Lot and brought to a location to be determined in downtown Southington. Visitors will also be returned from the downtown area to the Parking Lot at Southington High School. Two other pick-up and drop-off lots are used on Parade Day, October 6, 2024. The first is the commuter lot on Route 10 in Plantsville, CT located at the entrance/exit of Interstate-84. The second Parade Day lot is Kennedy Middle School in Plantsville, CT. These busses will run before and after the parade only. The Parade is scheduled for 2:00PM (rain date for the parade will be October 13, 2024). Total number of buses needed to service these two locations on Parade Day in nine (9) buses. The parade buses are in addition to the bus amounts needed as mentioned below for servicing the shuttle buses to and from Southington High School. The busses do not have a specific pick-up and drop-off schedule. The busses will transport guests based on demand and volume during the specified shuttle operation period.
