UCA is looking to hire a contractor with extensive radio site construction experience to build a new communications in Millard County Utah. The communications site will be complete with a equipment shelter and foundation, generator, propane tank, solar panels, and 100’ tower. • Project to be Completed by July 14th, 2024, site access limitations will be considered. • Some site components are pending delivery, start date contingent upon arrival of parts, weather, and site accessibility. • Site MUST be built to scale and specifications as seen in site layout drawings. Entire site layout must be kept within the Federal Government’s allotted 60’ X 50’ footprint. • Site layout drawings and overlay in ATTACHMENT B. • Install UCA provided 100’ Sabre self supporting lattice tower, tower accessories, and tower foundation. • Install UCA provided 3’ microwave dish, MW radios, ice shield and LMR cables. • Install UCA provided 24” X 10’ section of ice bridge and supports. • Form and pour concrete foundation for equipment shelter. • Deliver and assemble on site, UCA provided 23’ X 11’ modular equipment shelter. • Install UCA provided 25 KW Generac generator and associated components. • Install UCA provided 1000 gallon propane tank and prefabricated tank pads. • Install fuel line and sensor cable from propane tank to shelter. • Install ductless mini split HVAC system in communications shelter. • Install 20” external shelter ground bar. • Install 20” internal master ground bar. • Install qty. 2, 20” tower ground bars. • Install solar panels, bracketing and support pipes as per ATTACHMENT C. • Run conduits and conductors from solar panels to communication shelter. • Site Grounding to L3 Harris Grounding Specifications Manual T4618 Revision F. Electronic version of manual will be distributed on request. • All construction, electrical and grounding elements will be approved by UCA. • Photos of trench work, conduits and all grounding must be taken prior to backfilling. • Work area must be kept clean and free of debris. • Contractors must adhere to USFS issued Right of Way rules and procedures.
