Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Comply with ConnDOT Form 818, Article 9.71.01. B. Submit proposed signing plan for traffic control in Town roadways, for approval of the Engineer. C. Implement various traffic control schemes as necessary to construct the work. D. Install all required traffic control signs. E. Install drums, signs, and cones in immediate vicinity of the work. F. Make all necessary adjustments of traffic control devices per the direction of the Owner, Engineer. G. Following completion of construction, remove all construction signs, cones, drums, etc. from the project site. H. Repair areas damaged by sign placement or construction activities to pre-construction condition. 3.2 CURBING REMOVAL A. Remove existing curbing as shown on the plans. B. Saw-cut bituminous pavement and driveways to mm1m1ze pavement damage and bituminous concrete quantities during replacement curbing installation. C. Remove and dispose of old concrete curbing. 3.3 PRECAST CONCRETE CURBING A. Install new pre-cast curbing as shown on plans. B. Provide layout plan for curves to Owner for approval, and follow plan to match curb radii shown on plans as closely as possible. C. Provide curved sections of required radii to construct radii shown on the plans. D. Comply with ConnDOT Form 818, Article 8.11.03. 3.4 BITUMINOUS CONCRETE PAVEMENT REPLACMENT A. Place compacted gravel base as shown on the drawings. B. Re-saw cut pavement as required to provide a straight paving surface. C. Place tack coat on edge of existing pavement edge, immediately prior to paving. D. In Town Roadways, place bituminous concrete in one - 2" layer, thickness measured after compaction. E. At private driveways, place bituminous concrete in one - 3" layer, thickness measured after compaction, or match existing pavement thickness, whichever is greater.. 3.5 GRASS SURFACE RESTORATION A. Topsoil: Comply with ConnDOT Form 818, Article 9.44.03. B. Turf Establishment: Comply with ConnDOT Form 818, Article 9.50.03. C. Provide Grass Surface Establishment in all non-paved areas disturbed by construction during Pre-Cast Curb Removal and Replacement...
