Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide construction services to remodel and convert existing file area in Racine County Treasurer’s Office. ‐ Remove and dispose of existing storage cabinets and components along the East and South walls, as well as the center island. ‐ Infill two existing wall openings with steel studs and drywall, approximately 4’X 8’. New wall sections will not extend beyond the existing suspension ceiling. Exact dimensions and placements will need to be field verified. ‐ Frame out existing entrance opening with steel stud and drywall and install owner furnished wood door and frame. The contractor will provide new door hardware and hinges. The new wall will not extend beyond the existing suspension ceiling and exact dimensions and placement will have to be field verified. ‐ On South wall: Construct and install approximately 17’ of plastic laminate upper cabinetry. Purchase and install approximately 17’ of solid surface type countertops. Counter height should allow for standard 2 drawer file cabinets to be placed underneath. Provide and install 12 metal two drawer file cabinets and infill area around them to maintain a uniform appearance. ‐ On East wall: Construct and install approximately 7’ of plastic laminate upper cabinetry. Construct and install two 24” plastic laminate lower cabinets. Purchase approximately 7’ of solid surface countertop and install over lower cabinets to create a desk or workspace. ‐ Remove and replace existing flooring with Philadelphia LVT, Style: 5525V “in the grain” Color: 00774 “Wheat”. Remove and reinstall existing wood base boards. ‐ Paint and patch all new and existing walls with 2 coats of Benjamin Moore paint. Color to be chosen by owner. ‐ Solid Surface countertops to match as closely as possible with existing material.
