1. Following are general categories of equipment in which the University is interested for rental: a. Agricultural tractors, less then 40hp b. Agricultural tractors, 40 to 150 hp c. Agricultural tractors, over 150 hp d. Agricultural tractors with options and/or attachments (e.g. loader attachment, etc.) e. Hay and forage equipment – round balers, square balers, mower/conditioners, rakes, forage harvesters, disc mowers, feeder/mixer wagons, round bale processors, tedders, etc. f. Tillage/seed – drills, planters, primary tillage implements, discs, soil finishing implements, etc. g. Rotary cutters h. Lawn and grounds care – 4x2 and 6x4 utility vehicles, Z-turn mowers, commercial walk behind mowers, etc. i. Telehandlers, Skid steer loaders and attachments, backhoe loaders, and light construction equipment. j. Misc. implements (e.g. post hole diggers, grader blades, loader attachment, etc.) k. Technology Accessories: GPS Receivers, Displays, RTK, subscription services, etc. 2. General specifications for rental of farm and construction equipment. The University prefers two-year rental of all equipment. a. Renting of various items of general farm equipment for two-year periods, unless otherwise agreed. b. Renting of various items of tillage, hay and forage, and seeding equipment for twoyear periods, unless otherwise agreed. c. Renting of various items of lawn maintenance equipment for two-year periods, unless otherwise agreed. d. Renting of various items of light construction and light construction work-site equipment for two-year periods, unless otherwise agreed.
