Specifications include, but are not limited to: The OFFEROR shall: a) Collect autosamplers, passive sampler, batteries, tubing, collection bottles, sample bags, cooler, and other necessary related accessories from SLD the Friday before the start of sample collection, which is the next Monday. Items should be picked up between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm., every Friday. Contact Wastewater Microbiologist before picking up the items. b) Set up autosampler at a pre-determined site in the nursing home/long-term care facilities with tubing inserted into the manhole, between 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday. Program the autosampler to collect 24-hour composite aliquots of wastewater discharge from the building. Ensure the tubing and autosampler is pumping wastewater from the manhole at the time of set up and prior to leaving the pumping site. c) Set up the passive sampler in the same manhole in (b). The passive sampler shall be secured tightly, and the sampler shall be submerged in the wastewater body near the discharge channel from the building. Ensure the passive sampler must be retrieved after 24 hours when the sample collection completed d) Cover the autosampler or set up barricades to prevent attention, or possible hazard exposure to the public. e) After 24 hours of sample collection completed between 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, collect the wastewater samples from the autosampler (within 1 hour) and store the samples in 2 sample collection bottles (pouring the wastewater into Two 250 mL bottles from each sampling sites). The collection bottles shall be placed in a secondary container (e.g. sealed bag) and then a cooler with enough ice packs to ensure samples maintain temperature at around 4°C and last for at least 4 hours. f) After 24 hours of sample collection completed, collect the passive sampler and store it in a sample bag and ensure the sample bag is secured tightly (only store the whole piece of “Moore” swab/tampon soaks with wastewater in the sample bag). Place the sample bag in a secondary container (e.g. sealed bag) and then a cooler with enough ice packs to ensure samples maintain temperature at around 4°C and last for at least 4 hours. g) Disassemble the autosampler and remove it from the pre-determined site in the nursing home/long-term care facilities. The Offeror shall do this every sampling (weekly) and deliver the autosampler and other accessories back to SLD together when the offeror drop off the samples...
