The selected contractor shall provide the following services: 1. Labor, materials and equipment to provide listed services. 2. Regular maintenance services to be performed a minimum of bi-weekly unless otherwise specified. 3. Provide and install, replacement plantings, and seasonal color - plant sizes shall be selected for immediate impact and full coverage of the landscaped area. 4. Call OKIE for utility locations prior to digging (Dial 811 or 1.800.522.OKIE). 5. Monitor and maintain landscaped areas to ensure that plant material is alive and thriving at all times during the contract period. Dead plants should be replaced as needed. 6. Maintain irrigation systems in locations where irrigation is located. Where water is located, contractor may install automatic watering devices as needed or desired with prior approval of the City of Stillwater. 7. All mulch supplied and installed shall be grade “A” western red cedar. 8. Seasonal color where indicated from April 15th through November 30th. a. Visual display for each season of the year (fall, winter, spring, and summer) with seasonal color and themes. b. Because the fall season brings many visitors to Stillwater for Oklahoma State University events, fall themes should include flowers and plants with colors relating to OSU from August 15th through November 30th. c. Plantings in areas without water must be tolerant to the Stillwater climate without supplemental water. d. If requested, contractor shall provide planting layout drawings and materials list to the City for review and approval prior to planting.
