Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bend requests proposals from qualified contractors to perform vehicle and equipment washing services while maintaining high level wash water reclamation practices. Vehicles/Equipment listed in Exhibit E will be pressure washed and brushed (if needed) to ensure vehicles are clean and spot-free at the locations and frequency provided in Exhibit E. There are approximately 288 vehicles/equipment that need to be washed, on differing frequencies. The City of Bend cannot guarantee that all 288 vehicles will be available for pressure washing. Our vehicles and equipment must respond in a moment’s notice to emergency situations that are out of our control. Changes to Exhibit E during the life of the agreement will be at the discretion of the Fleet Director. During winter, or cold weather operations, the Contractor will use their best judgment to determine if vehicles can be safely washed due to weather conditions. If there are safety concerns, the fleet Director will be notified immediately. Contractor shall minimize, to the maximum extent possible, excess water left on site, in and around wash areas, due to safety concerns (e.g., slips and falls).
