Specifications include, but are not limited to: construct a new Cemetery Administration Building, Court-yard and two columbarium buildings at the Heber Cemetery. The purpose of the building is to support department functions (i.e. administration, arrangement, and storage) as the existing building is no longer adequately sized to meet the growing work demands of the department. Additionally, the new building is intended to provide much needed arrangement space for cemetery customers seeking to purchase a cemetery plot. The project will also include the construction of two columbariums that will surround an outdoor courtyard. The columbariums are structures designed to hold funeral urns containing cremated remains and will hold a total of 1296 niches.
