Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies and hardware replacements. Work to include, but not be limited to, removal of existing doors and hardware, installing custom-sized doors and hardware, and disposal of existing doors and hardware. Work is typically to be done during normal working hours (7:00AM CST – 4:30PM CST), but arrangements can be made to work later and/or on weekends. The Contractor must use new product recently purchased and with sufficient shelf life to perform this work. The University reserves the right to request invoicing, age verification of product, and contact with suppliers to ensure the products utilized were not expired or not recommended for use. Contractor will correct or have corrected any substandard work as requested by the University. Such work shall be at no extra cost to the University. All proposed products must be capable of performing at an effectiveness level in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. All proposed products must be capable of performing all operations in accordance with manufacture’s advertised data sheets and technical publications. Damage to existing facilities, caused by contactor, shall be the contractor’s full responsibility to repair to original condition. Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits. Provide written quotes for each door replacement project. All estimates must include a detailed description of products and services along with specifying the building/door number or suite number. Quotes must include a separate labor cost stating the number of hours of services quoted and separate line for cost of materials for each project. All estimates must be submitted with a maximum material markup of 10%. All freight to be paid by Contractor. Bid prices must include all packing, freight, insurance and transportation, charges. The Contractor shall be responsible for any materials received or accepted on behalf of the Contractor. The Contractor must be an experienced, factory authorized, certified and have qualified trained technicians to perform installation.
