Specifications include, but are not limited to: - The Contractor shall furnish and install construction signs in order to maintain and protect traffic during the course of construction. These signs include temporary signs necessary to detour traffic around construction sites and informative signs. The colors, sizes and dimensions shall be in conformance with FHWA MUTCD and may be as per the State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation specifications.. Details will be provided as necessary. The item is to include all required portable supports or metal signposts necessary for posting at locations as determined by the Engineer. Sign locations shall be determined prior to construction start-up and removed at the completion of the project.
