Specifications include, but are not limited to: Solicitation is for Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation to contract with a vendor to furnish all material, equipment, supplies, and labor to repair office roof and install Hardie Board and Batton siding to exterior of park office at Reelfoot State Park. 1) Contractor shall install new wood trusses on two feet centers with 4-12 pitch to support standing seam metal roof system. 2) Contractor shall cover trusses with 5/8” inch plywood. 3) Contractor shall install new ice and water shield to enter roof area before installing new metal roof system. 4) Contractor shall install new 24 gauge positive-locking standing seam metal roof system to exterior roof of park office according to manufactures recommendations. 5) Contractor shall extend all vents pipes and roof penetrations through new metal roof system and be weather tight with new boots. 6) Contractor shall remove existing vinyl siding, and insulation from side walls. 7) Contractor shall install new R-19 insulation or better to exterior walls. 8) Contractor shall remove all existing windows and install new single hung, gas filled, LowE, vinyl, no grid (clay in color) to exterior of building. 9) Contractor shall frame opening for new window, location and window size shall be determined at pre-bid. 10) Contractor shall replace three exterior doors.
