The Contractor shall furnish and supply all necessary equipment, material, labor, tools, and supervision to replace approximately 220 feet of 8 inch Ductile Iron airline including fittings for the air supply line to the sludge holding tank for the Pawleys Island WWTP. This item includes leaving the existing airline in place, rerouting, and installing a new airline. Installation shall be bell and spigot pipe with approved gaskets when below ground (MJ fittings) and flange connections in the two above ground locations. It shall also include cleanup of the site at completion. All work shall be performed by skilled craftsmen qualified to perform the required work in a manner comparable with the best standards of practice. Continuity of personnel shall be maintained and transfers of key personnel shall be coordinated with the Owner.
