Specifications include, but are not limited to: Trailers must have an approximate GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Restriction) of 48,000-pounds with an approximate cargo carrying capacity of 40,000-pounds at 55-MPH. Trailer must have a 5-foot fixed front stationary deck and a 25-foot rear tilt deck with a loading angle of approximately 10 to 14-degrees Overall width must be 102-inches. Overall length of both desks must be approximately 30-feet. Finished product must be of high quality workmanship and meet or exceed industry standards. All weldments must be as per current industry standards and American Welding Society recommendations. PLATFORM Deck height, (unloaded) when level, must be approximately 36-inches. Overall width of the wood platform must be a minimum of 98-inches. Entire deck area must be covered with wood plank, including over tires (steel tread plate over the tires is not acceptable). Wood decking must be apitong (only). Apitong deck surface must extend approximately 3/4-inch above the trailer perimeter metal framing. Planks used for decking must be a full 2-inchs (actual thickness) by 6 to 12-inches wide installed with 1/4-inch spacing between each plank and staggered seams. Deck planks must be placed lengthwise. All planks must be fastened down to each cross member with 2-bolts or screws. Bolts or screws must be countersunk, 1/8-inch below the wood surface. A steel bulkhead must be installed at the front of the main deck with a minimum height of 4-inches above the wood deck. Except for Bulkhead, no metal structure or frame member of any type must protrude above or be flush with the wood decking. There must be stake pockets along the entire outer edge of stationary platform and main platform.
