Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work to be performed under the Contract awarded through this RFP includes: 2.7.1 Recruitment and Marketing • Developing a recruitment and marketing plan to expand the number of nurses statewide for the LTCCN program. • Create recruitment materials to provide details of the LTCCN programs and Minimum Qualifications for RN’s. • Outreach to job fairs. • Contact and outreach to various nursing associations. 2.7.2 Consultation and Technical Assistance • Provide consultation to APD, I/DD and AAA Staff. • Provide Technical Assistance regarding LTCCN program, policies, and practices to LTCCN providers . 2.7.3 Evaluation Plan • Creating an evaluation plan that will include: o Identify process measures; o Program impact on safety and quality of nursing care. • Reviewing client records and LTCCN records to determine if appropriate nursing action and documentation has taken place. • Discussing questionable practices or concerns with the OSBN. • Deliver written and verbal feedback to the LTCCN providers . 2.7.4 Developing Training or Reviewing Existing Training a. Develop a way to teach LTCCN’s how to self-audit to meet OSBN and LTCCN program documentation Requirements. b. Review current training materials to update as necessary to reflect current rules and processes. c. Create, new training materials for program roles, functions, practices, and scope of RNs. d. Evaluate and develop training related to administrative practices to ensure compliance with state and Medicaid requirements. e. Review, create, or both ventilator training for caregivers and nurses regarding proper care.
