Specifications include, but are not limited to: Milwaukee Public Schools is seeking qualified vendors to provide Art Educators for short and long-term residencies, to provide art classes to students in place of a licensed art teacher due to vacant positions, generally targeting elementary grades, but which may include middle and high school. Contracted vendors will work with schools to match appropriate art educators with schools in need of service. Contractor shall ensure that art educators represent the diversity of Milwaukee (ethnicity, geographic region, gender). Contractor shall coordinate art schedules to match the needs of each school. Respondents will supply art educators trained in classroom management, curriculum alignment, unit and lesson planning based on the state standards for art educators.
