Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor is responsible for cutting of the asphalt as needed to access the work, and removal and legal disposal of fill materials and old basin/pipe materials. The installation of pipe may be solid or perforated as directed by the Superintendent of Public Services. Perforated pipe installation will include a fabric/stone/pipe rapping at the cost shown herein (fabric/stone/pipe supplied by the City). The contractor is allowed to compact processed stone to final grade (process provided by the city). Final paving will be by the City of Danbury. All basin repairs are to include Tuck-pointing all interior joints of the basin. All materials mentioned herein, that are provided by the City of Danbury, are to be picked up by the contractor at the Newtown Road Public Works Campus at 53 Newtown Rd. Staging of materials on site is not guaranteed and will have to be determined on a case by case basis at the construction site.
