Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor shall comply with and perform all HVAC and Mini Split System Maintenance Services, Repairs and Installations in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, codes, manufacturer's instructions, warranty requirements and specifications. Contractor and/or his/her employees performing work as part of this Bid requirement shall possess a minimum of a Class B License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and shall be in good standing with the State of Texas and be certified to work on HVAC units and mini split systems as set forth in this Request for Bid. Also, Contractor must be able to program and troubleshoot including, but not limited to Aron, Allied, Carrier, Lennox, Mayfair, Rudd, Trane, York, Comfort Link Controls. 2. Contractor and/or his/her employees performing work as part of this BID requirement shall possess an Environmental Air Conditioning Endorsement, and/or a Commercial Refrigeration and Process Cooling or Heating Endorsement. Also, Contractor technicians and installers must be registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. All work performed must be by the Contractor and not by a subcontractor. 3. Contractor shall conduct all work during normal working hours unless deemed by City of Pharr to be disruptive to the normal operations of the organization or an emergency. 4. Contractor shall practice acceptable safety precautions so as not to cause harm to any persons or property while performing services under this Bid or any resulting contract. Contractor shall follow industry safety standards and use only industry approved safety equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications in the performance of all duties. 5. Contractor shall clearly mark all work areas that might reasonably be expected to endanger the health and safety of residents, guests, or any other persons. Contractor will provide such signs, markers and barricades as required to identify all work areas and minimize inherent dangers. 6. Contractor’s personnel shall be neat and conduct all work in a professional and efficient manner in accordance with standard industry practice and all laws, rules regulations and codes. If any employee of contractor is deemed unacceptable by the City of Pharr, Contractor shall immediately replace such personnel with an acceptable substitute to the City of Pharr within two (2) business days. 7. Parts shall be invoiced at the contractor's cost plus the percentage for profit and handling as annotated on contractor's bid form. City of Pharr reserves the right to audit contractor's invoices at its sole discretion. Contractor shall make available to the City of Pharr any requested invoice showing what Contractor paid for the part, within three (3) business days of request or the City of Pharr shall not be obligated to pay for the part. 8. Contractor(s) must provide, at contractor's own expense, all equipment, labor, materials, supplies, tools, etc. necessary to perform all of the required services under this BID and any resulting contract. 9. Contractor shall commence and end all services on the same workday unless approved by the City of Pharr in advance.
