Specifications include, but are not limited to: • The contractor will provide annual fire alarm inspection/testing tasks on an as needed basis at various UNM buildings and locations in accordance with International Fire Code 2021 and New Mexico State regulations. • Contractor shall provide to UNM Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) the completed fire alarm inspection/testing report within five (5) business days of inspection/test completion. • Any deficiencies noted during the fire alarm inspection/testing will be forwarded to EHS in the form of a report including fire system inspection and testing forms and provided a copy of the fire alarm control panel report to EHS at the conclusion of the inspection/test. • Any repairs requiring immediate attention will be documented and communicated to EHS representatives immediately. • On an as needed basis, the selected contractor may provide repair and maintenance service to fire alarms. The contractor shall provide written estimates of costs prior to the provision of maintenance and repairs. Any repairs must be approved by EHS prior to the commencement of the work.
