Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Trees Are Cool project will include coordination with Mesa Public Schools and the City of Mesa. Project set up. Set up and implement the Trees Are Cool program. Provide organizational personnel, including travel to and from the school campuses. (For contract years one (1) – five (5)) Develop an urban forestry curriculum, coordinate with teachers and MPS administration to ensure the curriculum complies with national science standards/state education standards, and coordinate professional development sessions for teachers and MPS staff. (For contract years one (1) – five (5)) Provide materials and supplies needed to set up the program. (For contract years one (1) – five (5)) Coordinate with Mesa Public Schools and the City of Mesa through regularly scheduled coordination and progress meetings. (For contract years one (1) – five (5)) Provide additional services needed to set up this project. (For contract year one (1) only) Project implementation. Manage Trees Are Cool program implementation.
