Residence halls, at maximum capacity, can house approximately 2,300 students. However, it is important to note that not all students will be interested in renting a safe. 4.2.1.2 Storage of Units The vendor must detail their plans for storing units when they are not in use by students. 4.2.1.3 Recommendations for Securing the Safe The vendor should provide recommendations on how the safe can be secured within residence hall rooms without causing damage to the facilities. 4.2.2. Mandatory Project Requirements – The following mandatory requirements relate to the goals and objectives and must be met by the Vendor as a part of its submitted proposal. Vendor should describe how it will comply with the mandatory requirements and include any areas where its proposed solution exceeds the mandatory requirement. Failure to comply with mandatory requirements will lead to disqualification, but the approach/methodology that the vendor uses to comply, and areas where the mandatory requirements are exceeded, will be included in technical scores where appropriate. The mandatory project requirements are listed below. 4.2.2.1 Rental Plan The vendor must describe the rental process. Students will rent the safe and make payments directly through the vendor. Information regarding dates, deadlines, marketing materials, and other relevant details should be provided. Safes must be available for rental during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
