These rehabilitation projects shall consist of reviewing current Inspection Reports and performing adequate fieldwork to permit all recommended and approved repair items to be quantified and addressed in the contract plans and related documents. All fieldwork shall be coordinated with regularly scheduled Bridge Inspection Services. The professional services for the bridge rehabilitations shall include preparing construction plans, surveying, and traffic engineering services with special consideration to Design Directive 681 – Work Zone Safety and Mobility. Post Design Services, if required, shall be by separate Agreement. 1. Newhouse Road Overpass BR +1 carries two lanes of northbound & southbound I-79 traffic over CR 119/6 and I-77 NB with two separate bridges in Charleston, WV. US Army PFC Teddy Ray Chandler Memorial Bridge carries two lanes of northbound traffic over Wertz Avenue in Charleston, WV. The bridge width is 40.5 feet, and the bridge length is 365.6 feet, and is located 1.64 miles north of US 60 (BARS 20A420). 3. I-77 NB Bridge Ramp carries two lanes of northbound traffic over I-77 in Charleston, WV. The bridge width is 53.4 feet, and the bridge length is 109.7 feet, and is located 0.13 mile north of I-79 (BARS 20A440). 4. I-77 Wertz Avenue OP SB carries two lanes of southbound traffic over Wertz Avenue in Charleston, WV. US Army SSG Hobert G. “Hobie" Underwood Memorial Br. carries two lanes of northbound & southbound traffic over CR 27 & Kanawha Two Mile Creek with two structures north of Charleston, WV. The NB bridge width is 40.5 feet, and the bridge length is 301.3 feet (BARS 20A444). The SB bridge width is 40.5 feet, and the bridge length is 301.2 feet (BARS 20A445). Both bridges are located 2.97 miles north of I-79. 7. I-79 Bridge No 2672 NB carries two lanes of northbound I-79 traffic over CR 53 located north of Charleston, WV. The bridge width is 40.5 feet, and the bridge length is 182.5 feet, and is located 0.96 mile north of CR 43 (BARS 20A508). 8. Little Sandy Creek Bridge carries two lanes of I-79 southbound & northbound traffic over CR 45 and Little Sandy Creek with two structures. The SB bridge width is 40.5 feet, and the bridge length is 420.0 feet (BARS 20A505). The NB bridge width is 40.5 feet, and the bridge length is 420.0 feet (BARS 20A504).
