Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall provide Agency with the Contract Items listed below on an open-end and continuing basis. Contract Items must meet or exceed the mandatory requirements as shown below. 3.1.1 High Tunnels 3.1.1.1 Estimated quantity will be seven (7) high tunnels. 3.1.1.2 High tunnel frame must be “Gothic Style”. 3.1.1.3 High tunnel must have a minimum width of thirty feet (30 ft.). 3.1.1.4 Must be a minimum length of seventy-two feet (72 ft.). 3.1.1.5 Must be a minimum peak height of twelve feet (12 ft.) and a maximum height of fifteen feet (15 ft.) in center. 3.1.1.6 Frame shall be covered in two (2) layers of 6-mil, four (4)-year UV resistant polyethylene film. 3.1.1.6.1 NOTE: Both layers of polyethylene must be 6 mil clear greenhouse plastic that is rated for four (4) years of life. 3.1.1.7 High tunnel bows and ground posts shall be approximately 1.9-inches round in diameter and a minimum of 13-gauge galvanized steel posts. 3.1.1.8 Bows shall be spaced at a maximum of four feet (4 ft.) apart. 3.1.1.8.1 Bows and posts shall consist of no more than five (5) individual segments, including the ground posts. NOTE: Typically, this includes two (2) ground posts, two (2) half bows, and one (1) bow connector. 3.1.1.8.2 Splices or sleeves may be used to join bows and posts are not considered segments.
