Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town needs to procure Pre-Fabricated Building for its Fire Rescue Division. The existing concrete pads shall be prepped for the installation of pre-manufactured metal buildings, one of which will be outfitted with classroom spaces, restrooms, office spaces, and storage. The prefabricated structure must fit within the existing 50’x50’ concrete pad. The proposed building shall meet the following specifications: A. GENERAL: 1. Bid shall be only for the building materials and will not include erecting or finishing costs. 2. Delivery must be within 14 weeks from contract/order date 3. In the event the Town cannot accept delivery for any reason, Bidder must be able to store the materials for a minimum 18 months, preferrable at no cost to Town. If storage costs will be charged Bidder must include the storage costs as a separate item in their bid. 4. Bidder Include pre-construction design and planning services to accommodate interior uses of wood framed classroom with 2nd floor framed spaces, bathrooms, and storage. 5. Provide engineered permit drawings, anchor bolt plans, blueprints for install. 6. Provide a local preferred installer list. 7. Materials must be 100% American steel 8. Materials must have a minimum of a 40-year warranty. 9. Price free from risk of escalation as it pertains to future steel price increases for 18 months. B. DIMENSIONS: 10. Width: must be *40 to 50 feet 11. Length: must be *40 to 50 feet 12. Height at eave: 20 feet 13. Roof slope: 2/12 *based on manufacturers standard dimensions. C. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: 14. Building must be designed to comply with International Building Codes 2021 edition 15. Wind rating to meet or exceed 140mph ultimate, ASCE 7-16 16. Seismic design D0 17. Flood design ASCE 24-14
