The Contractor shall provide the services of licensed psychiatrist(s) and physician(s) to the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID) state owned and operated facilities (Facilities), as needed and when available. Need would vary and depend on the facility’s available staff, daily census, and current patient plan of care. Contractors will be notified in advance as soon as the need identified, however, each facility is not required to send need requests to all agencies awarded a contract. The requested psychiatrist(s) and/or physician(s) shall provide services to cover in times of emergency and staff shortages. Services provided shall be under the direct and indirect supervision of the facility’s Medical Director. On-call services are described as fifty-two (52) weeks per year; as needed; weekends / holidays at all times when needed; and vacation coverage as needed. If on-call services are needed, contractors will be contacted as soon as need is identified in advance of the start date. Requested services shall be delivered on-site to the individuals being served by the DBHDID residential facilities. Out-patient services will not be needed. On-call rates are hourly rates, and the rate for call backs is the same. Hourly rates are all-inclusive.
