Specifications include, but are not limited to: American Shoring spec. or equivalent • Two (2) stackable with appropriate stacking hardware manhole trench-shoring boxes, 8 feet (8) high, by ten (10) feet square (inside). • The boxes should be two sided, single-wall design, 4 inches thick, constructed of aluminum. The two (2) boxes should be complete wall sections. Each of the Trench boxes shall include 48 and 84 spreader pipes and 2 sets of stacking hardware. Each of the two (2) boxes should have lifting holes built into each corner, capable of supporting the lifting, stacking, and positioning the boxes with small to medium equipment. • Trench boxes shall be compliant to all OSHA rules/regulations for use in type “C” type soils. • The boxes shall be equivalent/similar to American Shoring Inc. – Light Weight 4” Wall Aluminum “ST” Trench Box • Each Trench box Shall include 5-inch Diameter schedule 80 spreader bars. The spreader bars shall be equivalent/similar to American Shoring Inc.-MPS 48 (48 inch) and MPS-84 (84 inch)
