Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County is requesting proposals from qualified offerors to provide nutrition services for its older adults or people with disabilities. This Request for Proposals (RFP) will provide interested vendors with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for providing said services. It shall be the basis for awarding a fixed unit-price contract under the provisions of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 45, ORS Chapter 279 and the Douglas County Local Contract Review Board Rules. The contract will be awarded to the one or more offerors whose proposals indicate the best ability to provide quality, affordable services. The initial contract awarded under this RFP will be for providing approximately 86,000 meals to approximately 900 unduplicated persons 60 years of age and older or persons with a disability (hereinafter referred to as “clients”) within Douglas County.
