The successful bidder shall provide parts and services for installation, changes and repair on a time and material basis for low voltage cabling that is installed in facilities owned or leased by Dane County. Cabling consists of ethernet CAT6 or higher as well as single mode fiber certified cables. The total amount of cabling is not a guarantee on Dane County’s part as various projects will occur over the course of this five year contract. Services include, but are not limited to: providing written quotes for low voltage cabling, installing, analyzing and identifying failures, securing and installing hardware for cabling to run on, replacing wiring, punching down into panels, performing preventive maintenance measures, testing and certifying to meet industry cabling standards.
