Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. ADCRR seeks to establish a one (1) year term contract(s) with optional extension periods as specified in Special Terms and Conditions section to a qualified firm(s) to provide Psychological/Psychiatric Evaluation Services needed to conduct mental health evaluations of identified adult male and female inmates and juveniles who have been remanded as adults in the State’s correctional system to assess whether or not they have a mental disorder which meets the requirements of the State of Arizona’s Sexual Violent Persons statute as defined in A.R.S. §36-3701 3. General Overview 3.1. Subject inmates will be those identified through a screening process with one or more convictions for an offense named under the law. The ADCRR anticipates the majority of subject inmates to be adult males. 3.2. The estimated number of evaluations utilized on an as needed, when needed basis by ADCRR is approximately 10-24 inmates annually. This figure includes record reviews. Actual use may vary. 3.3. Inmates considered for evaluation(s) may be located in any ADCRR State and/or contracted prison complex, however, ADCRR anticipates the majority of Inmate evaluations will be conducted at ADCRR’s prison complexes located in the Phoenix and Tucson areas.
