Specifications include, but are not limited to: Modernize the elevator at Lansing Correctional Facility. The elevator is located in the Admissions and Discharge Area and Property Area. The Awarded Vendor is responsible for removing any parts that need replaced, including the car. Requirements: • Rated load of 4000 lbs. • Rated speed of 100 fpm • Travel height 15 ft • 2 floors/ 2 front openings/ 0 rear openings Electrification: • Correctly interface with existing elevator components ensuring a trouble-free installation. • Hardware must perform all functions to ensure a safe motion of the elevator. • Hardware required to connect, transfer and interrupt power when needed to protect the motor from overloading. • Controller cabinets must contain memory equipment to shield lines from line pollution. • All contact points inside the controller cabinet shall be protected from accidental contact in a situation where the controller doors are open. • Control system shall utilize on-board diagnostics for servicing, troubleshooting, and adjusting without requiring to use of an outside service tool.
