Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mulching Planting Beds and Trees • Provide a new spring top dressing of mulch to planter beds upon County’s request. Mulch is to be placed to a two inch minimum. Mulch type and color shall be pre-approved by the site supervisor. Spring mulching is to be completed by May 24th • Provide and maintain mulch around all trees that have previously been mulched. Landscape Design or Redesign and Planter Maintenance • All sites that will have their landscapes designed or redesigned will be quoted and invoiced separately. The contractor will meet with the County’s area supervisor (or their designee) and together come up with a landscape design. Selections are to be appropriate for each location. (i.e. shaded, partially shaded, sunny) The contractor will then provide the area supervisor with a quote using the pricing detailed in this quote form for the landscape design or redesign at each site. The contractor may be called to do planter spring and fall clean up maintenance including but not limited to organic material removal and dead heading. No work will be performed or products bought prior to quote approval from the area supervisor. Grass seeding, Reseeding, Hydro-seeding or Sodding • All sites will be evaluated by the County’s area supervisor (or their designee). If seeding, reseeding, hydro-seeding or sodding is needed the contractor will provide the area supervisor with a quote using the pricing detailed in this quote form for all the work that is to be performed at each site. No work will be performed or products bought prior to quote approval from the area supervisor. Tree Planting, Shrub Planting and Initial Watering • All sites will be evaluated by the County’s area supervisor (or their designee). If tree or shrub plantings are needed the contractor will provide the area supervisor with a quote using the pricing detailed in this quote form for all work that is to be performed at each site. Contractor is responsible for the initial watering and care for the first year from the date of planting and will guarantee replacement of any trees/shrubs that do not survive this time period. No work will be performed or products bought prior to quote approval from the area supervisor.
